Garden Party Wedding Shower
June 4, 2013
We were contacted a few weeks ago by Dallas to assist with rentals for a lovely, afternoon garden party at his amazingly designed and decorated home in Houston Heights. It was a pleasure to have these in our inbox yesterday with a few photos of all the sweet touches and our china, glassware, and vintage floral vessels in action. Thank y’all for sharing these with us!

Katie & Andrew: Lakeside Hill Country Wedding
June 4, 2013
We were so completely honored and excited to do design and full floral for Katie & Andrew’s Lake Travis wedding in October 2012. Just visiting Katie’s father’s home on the lake for our initial site walkthrough awakened such a serene, beautiful, lush wedding vibe – we couldn’t wait to bring their unique and romantic touches to that atmosphere. From dimmed festoon lights swagging through the tree canopy to flickering candelabras at the family-style farm tables during dinner – the mood for their special day was exactly the way they had dreamed it would be comfortable, intimate, elegance without trying. Katie was the most stunning bride, and I still say to this day her dress is one of our all time favorites. She had a Houston seamstress custom-make it for her with her own fabric and design. The crisp white lace on Katie was a beacon of lovely among the evening’s glow. Talk about wonderful hostesses, the family treated guests to all local, Texas brews and wine from Dallas start-up IPAs to Hill Country tempranillos. Dinner was served family style and guests helped themselves to elegant southern comfort food from baskets of mini cornbread biscuits to oversized bowls of macaroni and cheese. Katie chose a decadent, classic, and beautifully simple buttercream frosted cake to end this classic, contemporary affair. From the color palette, groom’s attire, flowers, photo displays, escort cards, and the groom-designed paper goods suite, this wedding was such a reflection of Katie & Andrew’s unique tastes and unwavering eye for style. Thank you so much for allowing us to help create your dream wedding. We wish this happy couple many years of love and happiness. A huge thank you to photographer and bride’s cousin, Kelly McCullough for allowing us the use of these gorgeous images.
Check out the Video from the wedding made by the groom himself and filmed that day by the couple and their guests.

Schulenburg Wedding Details We Love
January 17, 2013
Hey y’all! Happy New Year from the ladies at A Style Collective. We’ve been having some pretty chilly winter weeks here for Houston, so why not jump forward in dreaming about Spring with a few peeks at one our favorite Spring events from last May. This wedding, shot by Rachel Robinson Photography, was at Sengelmann Hall in Schulenburg, Texas. Jackie & Mike enlisted A Style Collective for some unique, whimsical, and beautiful rentals and custom crafted projects for their wedding coordinated by Resha of Something to Celebrate. Sugar Bunch Creations here in Houston did a wonderful job supplying delicious sweet treats in our outdoor rental pieces as well. Thank all of you so much for including us on this one. More photos will be posted soon in our portfolio courtesy of Rachel Robinson. xo

Sew In Love Styled Engagements
September 7, 2012
We are so excited to share this adorable engagement session from Kimberly Chau Photography who contacted us back in April to assist in styling. We love the sweetness of this couple and the amazing DETAILS. Read more below in Kimberly’s own words.
“Jeni + Danny’s styled engagements session was fabulous and so, so gorge! We found the perfect spot at an intimate tea room called the Silver Sycamore. The ladies at A Style Collective brought in an antique sewing table and machine and we tied it all together with the “Sew In Love” theme line. The Frosted Petticoat provided the heart shaped lollipops and cute buttons that we used to decorate the cupcakes (by Cupcake Cachet) and dessert table with. Our friend, Laurie Perez, in her beautifull hand-calligraphy wrote the signs and banners for the shoot.
It was so great teaming up with the best in the area to share with Jeni + Danny a handful of their creative and lovely wedding details in a personalized, styled engagement session!” Via.

Ouisie’s Table Bridal Breakfast
August 23, 2012
Earlier this spring, we had the honor of styling a Bridal Breakfast to kick-off an amazing wedding day for one of our sweet clients. They wanted to play up Ouisie’s Table’s french inspired restaurant and create a unique flair with dainty, vintage, and French touches. We rented our vintage assorted tea cup and saucer sets, dinner plates, and chargers for guest’s place settings. We created custom handkerchief tied chair sashes as well as beautiful silk and lace table linens. Guests sipped morning mimosas in our vintage champagne goblet collection that are beautifully and delicately etched with floral designs. We styled around beautiful pink peony arrangements from Lisa at Wedding Flowers by Lisa in the centerpieces by using oversized, decorated books, vintage books, crocheted doilies, touches of butterflies, and miniature bird cages and Eiffel Towers. Each guest had a custom made place card made by ASC of old, wooden spools wrapped in colorful lace and a coordinating name card on top. We also created a table with “Postcards from paris” for each guest to write well-wishes for bride-to-be, Becca, on adorable French-inspired “vintage” post cards. This breakfast was thoughtful and beautiful. Thank you so much to Alia of Belle of the Ball for referring your client to us for this special opportunity. We truly enjoyed assisting the Kent family. Also a huge thank you to Joe Cogliandro for sharing these images with us for our blog.
Now for the detail shots.
House of Blues Bridal Show
August 16, 2012
We had such a good time gearing up for the House of Blues Bridal Show that was August 12 here in Houston. We have been so busy moving warehouses and juggling events, it was awesome to get creative and be present for this event to showcase what we have to offer, mingle with local industry folks, and meet some of the sweetest inquiring brides and their families. We truly love what we do. Here are some sneak peeks at the show in case you missed our set-up in the Bronze Peacock Ballroom. These photos are brought to you by the absolutely fabulously talented, Laurie Perez. Laurie also hand scripted this amazing aisle runner pictured. We are head over heels in love the way it came out! Thank you so much, Laurie. And also, a huge thank you to Emily with Matters of the Heart for the STUNNING invitation to go along with our Event Design. Emily is awesome, y’all!
