April 30, 2012
We have been waiting for so long to be able to share these images with all of you! We had the amazing opportunity back in January to team up with the talented Ryan Price Photography for a really creative, fun styled shoot in Kemah, Texas. Our inspiration was the carnival atmosphere, the boardwalk, pier, and the old fashioned feel of everything. Below are a few of our favorite shots from the day, and they are so incredibly STUNNING – we will let them do most of the talking. Thank you Ryan for your artistic vision and how brilliantly you capture this day.

Maternity Styled Photoshoot
March 7, 2012
We had the honor of assisting this stunningly gorgeous Mommy-to-be and her sweet family last month in capturing some very special maternity memories. Waiting the arrival of the family’s first granddaughter, baby Kendall, they gathered to use our props and office space for a beautiful session. We are talking, BEAUTIFUL! We readied the space with its wonderful open windows and natural light flooding in, petite cupcakes, and sparkling refreshments. Kelly, the glowing future Mom, her husband and their parents spent a couple of hours sitting pretty for the camera. Kelly’s husband and mother-in-law were the designated photographers and they were nice enough to let us snap some images of our own during the shoot. We can’t tell you how precious this family was! They are some of the nicest people we have ever had the opportunity to work with. Thank you Bennett family for allowing us to be a part of your special memories. Thank you Kelly for being breathtaking and making our job look so easy!

Vintage, Shabby Chic Sips & Sweets Shower
February 29, 2012
You are in for an incredibly sweet surprise today as we unveil one of our favorite styled sets with y’all. This session, captured by the amazingly talented Lacy Dagerath of , we would love to meet you.

Our inspiration for this set came from the desire to really just capture a totally feminine style of entertaining complete with vintage-shabby-chic props, mismatched china, and an amazing vintage wardrobe. We pulled off a plethora of girly details in the ruffled cake, pink cocktails, petite sweets, pillow-like peonies & ranunculus, shabby chic distressed furniture, and pink Victorian velvet couch. We added some yellow for a little pop of sunshine in the china, flowers, and hand-crafted pendant as well. We also incorporated some feminine green in to the paper goods to complete the color palette. Everything turned out incredibly sweet, and we love this theme’s ability to be versatile for an array of events from weddings, showers, luncheons, tea parties, or even a birthday. Lacy captured the models with bit of a whimsical, playing dress-up feel for some of the less-candid shots and we adore the way it represents the perfect melding of classy meets playful.
The furniture, props, floral design, and glassware are all A Style Collective inventory and styled by us. We had so much fun coordinating different props for this look, the possibilities were endless. The vintage wardrobe was provided by our dear friend, Lori, at 7 Closets Vintage, and the girls at this party have such a fun era-look about them because of it. (Can you spot gorgeous Lori sporting her own vintage pink gown?) Who doesn’t love to play dress up at any age?
Last but certainly not least, we can NOT get over the gorgeous cake by Sandee Moss at Cinderella Stories. It became a major focal point on the sweets table along with her petite cupcakes and cake-ball pops. Sandee is the dessert mastermind, y’all. Not to mention, Yum! We also ADORE the hand-lettered invitations, signage, place cards, and Bride-to-be rosette scripted by a talented, Houston friend of ours, Bethany Mathews.
Our gracious models were primped to perfection thanks to Dorothy at Your Make-up Expert with her extremely talented hair and make-up team. Their faces are simply glowing and it really tied the entire ‘look’ together.

Thank you ALL so much for collaborating on this special shoot. A huge thanks to our beautiful models who completed this set!
