After graduating from Texas A&M’s Mays Business School with a degree in Marketing and a passion for branding, event marketing, and an unhealthy obsession with wedding details, I took a very exciting and fulfilling career move– becoming a Wife and Mommy. My first priorities in life are being a child of God, a serving and loving wife, and the best mother I know how to be to our almost-3-year-old daughter, Kensington Grace. Growing up with the most hospitable mother on the block and after planning Jeremy and I’s New Years Eve wedding, I finally stumbled upon what my true desire in life is: Creating. Creating memories, moments, fine details, unique designs, and note-worthy editorial content through blogging to share with others around the world. With the birth of A Style Collective, I am thrilled to pursue my passion in a new creative outlet outside of cleaning up toddler messes and loads of laundry. At the end of the day, I am a common Texas gal who loves sunsets, changing of seasons, morning cuddles, a tall glass of sweet tea, local farmers markets, and has a secret addiction to chocolate sprinkle donuts. But the work I dedicate myself to here at A Style Collective, I vow to be anything but common, and all things absolutely stylish and fabulous. Won’t you join us?

I have been very happily married to the love of my life, Jeff, for 24 years. We have two adult children and our daughter is to be wed in June 2012. I am passionate about my Faith and my family. Whenever time allows, I love spending as much of it with them as possible. I attended Sam Houston State University and have been in the corporate world for most of my life with experience in accounting and bookkeeping. But my true love is in making people happy and creating memories. I come from a VERY large, loving family. We have always thrown huge parties here in the South. As a matter of fact, we are kind of known for them. I have been raised with the gift of hospitality in my blood and it gives me pleasure to pass on that gift. Another favorite pastime of mine is to repurpose found objects and give them new life. Here at A Style Collective, I am known as the Fairy Godmother of treasures. I believe that every old item has a history. Wouldn’t it be nice if we knew about each old piece we had? Who’s was it and what was it used for? Oh, the stories they could tell! I hope that when our pieces are used for your event that you enjoy sharing them with your guests, friends and family as much as we have had collecting them. I look forward to working with you and making your event and life moments as memorable as possible.
